As a Construction Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of large-scale construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure profitability, compliance, and risk management. Your expertise in cost control, contract negotiation, and stakeholder management will be crucial to the success of high-value projects across commercial, infrastructure, and residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial & Commercial Management – Oversee project budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control.
• Contract Administration – Manage contracts, claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
• Risk Assessment – Identify and mitigate financial and legal risks.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Procurement & Supply Chain Management – Negotiate and manage supplier and subcontractor agreements.
• Reporting & Compliance – Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and financial reporting standards.
• Value Engineering – Drive cost savings and efficiency without compromising quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts (e.g., AS4000, AS2124, FIDIC), and dispute resolution.
• Expertise in financial management, cost control, and procurement.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in contract management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, or a related field.
• Membership with professional bodies such as RICS, AIQS, or CIOB (preferred).
