Many Hydraulic Modellers progress their careers and become self-employed contractors, consultants or shift their focus to Project Management, Construction Management, Planning, Estimation or Health & Safety. In addition, they could also specialise as Coastal Engineers and work on protecting New Zealand’s coasts and rivers.
