With an exciting and robust pipeline of upcoming projects, our client, a highly regarded contractor, is actively seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their Civil & Urban Infrastructure team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing contracts, technical specifications, and stakeholder relations
- Liaising effectively with subcontractors, councils, and regulatory authorities
- Tracking project costs, forecasting budgets, and preparing financial reports
- Leading project meetings and ensuring efficient cross-team communication
- Supervising all surveying, engineering site controls, and construction requirements, including providing guidance, detailed reporting, measurements, coordination, and oversight
- Offering technical advice and guidance to site supervisors and operational teams
- Understanding and clearly communicating project specifications for earthworks, drainage, road construction, schedules, material tracking, placements, and measurement
- Coordinating closely with geotechnical teams to ensure effective material testing, confirming suitability, and identifying and resolving design conflicts with practical engineering solutions to ensure project progression
To succeed in this position, the successful candidate will possess:
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in civil construction (experience with residential and industrial subdivision projects highly regarded)
- A valid White Card and current Queensland driver’s licence
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Professional-level written and verbal communication skills
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of current market conditions, construction techniques, and relevant industry standards
- Proficiency with digital tools and relevant technology
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate within teams and confidently work independently
- Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills
- An approachable, professional, and friendly demeanour, combined with enthusiasm and dedication to their work
